“Our family had the lucky occasion to meet Jennifer Mott this summer during a week long family reunion. There were over 50 people in attendance, and, needless to say, much organization was necessary. Jennifer was thankfully chosen as our photographer, and she cheerfully attended all our gatherings and activities, day time and evening, and photographed EVERYONE!!! There were many children, teenagers, young adults, and us older ones to remember. Having everyone’s cooperation at all times is impossible with an event such as this, however, Jennifer made it easy!
Jennifer’s unusual patience and calmness was remarkable. Her quiet, unobtrusive, and gentle disposition touched us because we are not an easy group to assemble for large family photographs with rows and rows of family members, constant chattering, giggling, etc., nor are we always well behaved. An authentic square dance, Maumee River boat ride, and a family picnic are just a few of the activities that were planned, and to our wonderful amazement, Jennifer photographed every event without ever looking fatigued. I must add that she had the ability to take very natural photos while we were barely aware of her presence, and that comforted us and put us at ease. Hence, the photos are genuinely realistic of the wonderful time we had!
In addition, Jennifer has a unique ability to photograph babies and children like no other photographs I’ve seen. Her work is very special, and if you find yourself wanting a photographer to capture your child’s personality and expressions perfectly, please use Jennifer. “I’ll never go to a ‘portrait studio’ again! Jennifer was able to make my girls feel so comfortable. When we’d gone to a local portrait studio, my girls cried, didn’t want to pose, tried to run from the camera – it was miserable, and the photos were disappointing. Our first time with Jennifer was at an orchard, and she was able to capture the girls with natural smiles doing the things they like to do. Those pictures were the best I’d ever seen of my girls. Emily had learned of Jennifer through a classmate at CCHS and asked me (Emily’s Mother) if Jennifer Mott could do her senior pictures.
