• Welcome!

My name is Jennifer Mott and I am a photographer in the Toledo, Ohio area.  I love to capture memories from sweet new babies to the wedding day you dreamed of as a little girl!  Life moves so fast, it's amazing to watch how much my own three children change all the time.

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you enjoy my recent sessions!

My baby is ONE!!!!

Whah!!!!! I can’t believe it! It’s flown by so fast and she has grown so much! She has such a personality now:)She’s so sweet with her dolls and kisses…then she gets this evil look and goes off to cause trouble.

No pictures, but if the stars align today, I might have something before midnight! Monday I took her out running errands with me with the plan of stopping at a park on the way home for a couple first year shots. Only to look around the car and realize I left the camera bag at home by the door! I swear I am losing my mind lately! If nothing else, I will get a snapshot of her shoveling pink strawberry cake in her mouth tonight… my girl loves her food, you should have seen her with forks in both hands attacking the mac and cheese at a party this past weekend.

A couple of business notes:

You can now contact me at jennifer@jennifermott.com I will be updating my website and materials with my new address soon. (the old address will also work!)

Final days to contact me for the maternity and baby special! Friday is the last day I will take requests. I have newborns scheduled through the rest of the year and I am so excited because I LOVE newborns! If I could have tolerated blood and guts better in college, I would have been a postnatal nurse.:)Anyway, I have been working on some maternity/baby packages with some great deals and options and will be announcing those soon too!

If you are in or near Chicago and would be interested in a session, please email me! I have had some requests and I am thinking about setting up a trip for a few days…

First day of school I always do pics on the porch… only it was pouring. And really dark out. And Tim left for work already and Lucy was crying inside. So we got one shot with a majorly cheesy grin…actually I don’t think that would qualify as a grin…

And this is a prime example of what they call “photographer’s child syndrome” We’re researching treatment options;)

And Lucy finally figured out that she can get to what she wants when she uses her arms and legs…
And Aidan? He sat still for about 10 seconds and I got these last week…

Thanks so much Jennifer!!

Sneak peek from baby’s reshoot

I went over and reshot the sweet sweet baby that wasn’t feeling so well last week. I am so thrilled I did, I got some magic in his beautiful nursery. But I am glad I got some feet shots last time, since we were too afraid to unwrap him and get him mad again…he was so peaceful!

awww, these are so sweet, I love that last shot especially!

Beautiful newborn

I got to meet the most gorgeous little baby today, but poor little guy was so miserable…

I had to get something like this, I felt the need to “finish the story” in front of that wonderful window:

As tired as he was, he just was not going to give up and go to sleep. Reminded me of my stubborn little ones.

I can’t resist wrinkly little feet and toes:)

Bed time!! Busy weekend ahead… Rock and Roar at the zoo, never been there, should be a blast! 2 sessions, 2 parties, have to shop for back to school because it just hit me that it starts next week! What happened to summer??

That first pic is absolutely amazing, great job girl!

Checking out new spots

We have been checking out some local places we haven’t been to or haven’t visited in years this past couple of weeks. Click on all of these to see bigger, the smaller size doesn’t do scenery shots justice…

I love the sunlight coming through the trees in this one:

We saw the tin man:

And I found some places that will be really cool for girly pictures:

And a proud moment, Duncan was turning to Aidan in this one to tell him the statue has naked boobies.

Lucy has been sick the past week or so…with about every symptom you can think of. I think she is finally over the worst of it, so I can get back to everything I have put off or rescheduled. The poor thing has been attached to my hip or sleeping, or attached to my hip and sleeping.
