Perrysburg Bound! Moving the Studio!

I know, it’s been really quiet on the blog for a long while… this time of year has always been my busiest with editing the tail end of the wedding season, working on wedding albums, and lots of sessions set up to catch the gorgeous fall color! Well, this year, to add to that, I’m in the process of moving my studio from Grand Rapids to Perrysburg! It’s been a year long process to find the perfect space and I think I have!

I’ve always had a focus on sessions in the comfort of your home, with natural settings, so it only feels appropriate to set up my studio in a home away from home! I am in love with older homes with all their charm! I’ll have super cute rooms set up throughout the house , a great little side yard, and the cutest garage doors too!

The house is at 126 West Front Street in Perrysburg, right across the street from the River and just around the corner from downtown and some favorite spots to shoot there!

I have some decorating and final set up to do yet, but it’s definitely functional for shooting in now! And once I do get it just right, I’ll have an open house. One week ago today, I got to meet this adorable little man and see his big brother again! I’ll show off more after I get the full gallery to mom and dad!

It’s another catch up from last year blog This session is from last January, these sweet sisters visited me out at the studio. Mom wanted lots of white and them just doing their thing…I love their little princess figures in the white fluffy rug! I think my favorite is the first, little sis was getting tired and they grabbed their loveys and cuddled on the floor

I’m going back almost a year for this post…it was February last year! As I mentioned on Facebook, I have 131 sessions or weddings on my to-blog list! This little sweetie was so adorable! And a very happy baby, 90% of this session she had a huge smile on her face, so I had to choose some that show all her cute expressions and chubby good-ness

Anyone waiting on me…I mentioned on Facebook as well, we’ve had strep and then a stomach bug going around to everyone in our house. Completely my fault for telling someone we’ve been healthy for so long.

Birthday Baby – Toledo Child Photographer

Still back in May, little miss A and her family traveled from the Cleveland area to come get her first birthday pictures at the studio. Poor little A had gotten a big scratch on her eye right before her first scheduled date, so we postponed…and this time she still seemed out of sorts but we tried our best anyway. I found out she had a double ear infection at the time, poor baby!! It was one of those days when you wondered if you got any happy faces and it was so nice to get a note from mom about how surprised she was at how many I did get!

I have to start with the cake pictures because I love them! She was not having any part of it until we sprinkled some baby fruit snacks on top:

This last one, a favorite…evidence of the fun that was had!

Yay smiles!! She has such gorgeous eyes!

It’s Good to be a Girl! – Toledo Baby Photographer

I stole my post title from big sister’s shirt…you’ll see it later! I had the H family out to the studio with their new baby girl a few weeks ago. Last I had seen them, it was mom and M and her twin cousins! All girls around 1 to 1 and a half…that was a crazy day! Well M added baby L to the girl cousins club…and I could have just ate her up she was so sweet!

I have a lot of new favorites from this one:

And these…my favorite girl color combo is blue and pink, I love this next one so much I want to hang it in Lucy’s room

And her little feet hanging out, so cute!

Now, M wasn’t in the best mood that day…not sad, just very very serious! I finally got some smiles from an iPhone…mom and dad, you are in trouble in oh, about 12-14 years!

I love newborn stretches!

Beautiful Little One Year Old – Toledo Baby Photographer

Oops…I had this blog post up as a draft for several days now…with the rain finally staying away I am slightly crazed here! All that rain really messed me and my calendar up!

It took Miss E a while to warm up to me at the studio, but once she did I got some adorable smiles! This first is a favorite, I just love when babies chew on their fingers, it’s such a baby thing and I miss it with my own kids.

This next one is another favorite, so sweet!

And this last one cracks me up…she did fine with the hat boxes, it was the necklace that set her off!

I’ve been meaning to do this forever…get 25 comments on this post and mom and dad get a gift! To be fair, the same thing goes for all my previous blog posts…

Could she be any cuter? – Toledo baby photographer

Just a quick post tonight…busy day and night! I got a lot done including putting this adorable little one’s gallery up. Grandma and Grandpa brought her to the studio while she was in town visiting. She is such a happy baby, and those eyes and dimples made me melt!

Lambs are her thing and she brought along a whole herd, so cute!

It was a pleasure meeting you all, thank you for bringing her into the studio!

Just a quick one before I go to bed because I know it will be an extra early morning with the excitement over the Easter bunny! I had this family come in 2 weeks ago with their two adorable little boys. It was so much fun to see their oldest again, I had taken some shots of him when he was a baby… this first one was a rare smile from Mr. Serious. I LOVE his little mohawk!

This is most of what I saw from the little one, good thing he’s adorable!

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter tomorrow! I will be off and will return any calls or emails at some point on Monday or Tuesday. The kids will be on spring break and I am sure I will be busy dealing with their sugar highs Monday! Plus we have dentist appointments, who schedules THOSE the day after Easter?
