I know many of you know the story of the Savage family, after an embryo was switched during in vitro fertilization, Carolyn gave birth to a baby belonging to another family. Having done family pictures for them before as well as a maternity shoot with their pregnancy, I followed their story and was so excited to hear that they were expecting twins through their surrogate. I was even more thrilled to get to meet the girls and see how happy everyone was! Truly a happy ending…

We did family shots too, but I wasn’t sure if the boys would be so excited to have their pictures online

Busy as ever here, with all my mini sessions booked up and the move to the Perrysburg studio done (although I still have tons of organizimg, decorating, and painting ahead!

A Heavy Heart Today – Toledo Family Photographer

Last fall I took family photos of one of the most love-filled families I have ever met. As with all the sessions from the busy fall, I hadn’t had a chance to share the images yet. Today, their as beautiful inside and out mom is laid to rest, I can think of nothing else but how much she loved her children and her husband. I thought I would share her beauty and the gorgeous sweet children she leaves behind in her memory. My thoughts are prayers are with her whole family and I’m sure will be for years to come. I hope you all hug your family and tell them how much you love them constantly…with tears:

I originally met this family at Kirsten and Scot’s wedding at the Valentine theater and was impressed by their talent on stage! So last June, it was so much fun to hang out with them and capture their little one! She was so expressive and absolutely adorable!

Just a few that I am working on right now! Mom was a classmate of mine at Notre Dame back in the day and traveled up from Columbus for this session. It was so great to see her again and to meet her family! I adore these, the kids are so sweet and adorable, love the spring feel!! I will have the rest to mom and dad soon!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s day!! I know this is a little late, but if you knew the busy day I had, I am amazed I am getting this up at all! These kids are mine and they “sort of” cooperated for a shoot tonight! In between activities, we drove by a location I wanted to scout out for a session tomorrow…and to my amazement, my camera-tired/bored little ones suggested going home to get my camera! I got about 10 minutes from them when we got back, but it was worth it!

If anyone is interested in the location for a session, the flowering trees will only last a few more days and I have availability Tuesday morning only…so let me know! It’s so gorgeous there right now!

My youngest is so cheerful, chatty, and a complete girly-girl! I’m so glad she’s willing to let me take pictures of her again! My boys, I will treasure this one forever…they are opposites and rarely get along:

After that, my too cool for this oldest was done…but I got some more of the younger two. These first too are sooo A.

A always has a stick…or rocks…I find them everywhere!

And that last one of L through the trees? I adore it, messy hair and goofy laugh and dandelions for mom…so her!! Rare pictures of my own babies, happy mother’s day to me!!

I promise I will start blogging more now! I had a few weeks worth of everything happening at once and I am almost back to the normal level of busy!

Toledo Family Photography – Cousins!

A little more catching up from last year today This session is the last I have from last January. Yep, that’s 2010 for those keeping track of how behind I am! Luckily I did a pretty good job for the rest of last spring and now I just have last June through now to share!

I did the newborn session for this first little guy the previous year…and this time I met him at his cousin’s house to get one year shots, and some of his new cousin and her big brother and sister! It was a little crazy but fun, and how adorable are these kids??

I’m still planning to announce some Spring/Summer mini sessions…just sorting out my schedule with lots of new appointments this week! Make sure to contact me now if you’re interested for the summer for a regular session! I only have one open weekend until the end of September!
