Shelly and Paul’s Nazareth Hall Wedding – Published in the knot Ohio Magazine

I was so excited to see Shelly and Paul’s wedding in the new issue of the knot Ohio! They had gorgeous details and fall colors all tied together by Shelly’s great friend Jenn…who we later found out was a childhood neighbor of mine who suggested me to Shelly and Paul without having any idea that the Jennifer Mott she found online was the same Jenny Roper from down the street. I’m always amazed at what a small world it is. So check out the magazine spread, and brides, so grab a copy, there are always cool ideas in there!

And I need to head up to Michigan to find their edition of the Knot magazine because Jess and Chris (blog post here) have a full page picture in it and the editors didn’t send me a file or copy. It’s the color version of the black and white of her veil blowing in the arch in the blog post…

Beautiful Little One Year Old – Toledo Baby Photographer

Oops…I had this blog post up as a draft for several days now…with the rain finally staying away I am slightly crazed here! All that rain really messed me and my calendar up!

It took Miss E a while to warm up to me at the studio, but once she did I got some adorable smiles! This first is a favorite, I just love when babies chew on their fingers, it’s such a baby thing and I miss it with my own kids.

This next one is another favorite, so sweet!

And this last one cracks me up…she did fine with the hat boxes, it was the necklace that set her off!

I’ve been meaning to do this forever…get 25 comments on this post and mom and dad get a gift! To be fair, the same thing goes for all my previous blog posts…

Retro Baby Revisited and a Senior announcement – Toledo Baby Photographer

First, before I get to this cutie…I have been getting a ton of calls and emails asking if I am going to be choosing senior spokes models this year. I will not have spokes models this year and I will only be taking a limited number of senior sessions. I plan to have more information about these exclusive senior spots soon.

You might remember this little guy as a newborn…http://jennifermott.com/blog/2010/02/retro-baby-toledo-newborn-photographer/ I was so excited when his mom called to have me back! He is just so stinkin cute and his mom did the best time decorating his room! I told her she needs to go into business somehow because she has a gift for finding cool things and pulling them all together! I could use her help with my house!

It was so great to see D awake so much this time, he has the more gorgeous soulful eyes!

He is a serious little man:

This sleep baby shot takes me back…one of my kids sucked their thumb and another one played with their hair when they were tired…it’s such a baby thing that I miss!

So great to see you all again!!

Little Visitor from Chicago – Toledo Baby Photographer

Today (yes, I said today…I’ll explain in a bit) I got to see little H again. I met him for the first time for a family session with his parents, aunt and uncle, cousins, and grandparents. This time he was in town and came out to the studio to celebrate being just over one year old! H was pretty serious for most of the session, we were thinking it was a combination of teething and the time change and travel. But I was so happy to go through and find lots of smiles I caught in between the serious faces. I’m so glad, he has the best smile, not to mention those gorgeous blue eyes!

This face cracked me up, I had to include it!

It was so wonderful to see you all again!

OK…I am not trying to be unfair, but I think if I keep trying to catch up on the blog I will never get back to the point I want to be at…where I am showing off a few images from each session right away. I have not forgotten about all the sessions I have left from the past few months, but I will be mixing them in when I can. For now I am starting fresh from my return from my conference. I’m also making some big changes, which I’m working on when I can and will roll them out all at once…but I included a sneak peak if you’re paying attention

Central Park West and the Zoo – Toledo Wedding Photographer

I have to skip ahead a bit…my next session was a boudoir, and a gift for a groom, but they are going to be married out of town very soon and I don’t want to ruin any surprises! So look for the boudoir session when I get back, I am leaving tomorrow for the WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) big conference! I’ll be there learning and checking out new products until March 11. I’ll check emails and voice mails once in a while, so forgive me if I take a little while to get back to you!

Meet Elisabeth and Brett! These two were already officially married, but had a ceremony and reception for all of their families and friends December 26th!

We met up at the Toledo Zoo for some shots before the ceremony started. Elisabeth was amazing, it was extremely cold that day! You can’t tell from these shots because she is amazing! And my wonderful second shooter had a blanket in her car to wrap up with between shots!

Just taking a break from editing, voice mails, and emails (the last two are coming in faster than I can reply, so I apologize if it’s taking a while to get back to you) to show off some fun that I got in the mail today. The Michigan edition of the knot magazine (the cover picture is not mine)

But featured inside, check it out…Amy and Lawrence! One of my first weddings… the knot found it on the blog a bunch of months back and asked me to send lots more for them to see. And here’s what they picked to feature. You can buy the magazine all over up in Michigan, pretty cool, huh?

Like I said, lots of editing and galleries going out, two more and then I’ll get back to blogging…

Gorgeous Melissa – Toledo Senior Photographer

Meet Melissa from CCHS! Isn’t she stunning? I had a great time meeting her, her cousin, friend and mom a few weeks ago. We had so much fun and lots of laughs! And she’s a rower too…that says it all OK, short on words again, I am still catching up but making progress! Thanks everyone for being patient during this busy season! Soon the leaves will be gone and my life will slow back down…

More soon!! Also, if any clients from this year want to use a picture from their session for Holiday cards you can now find my new designs on the client proofing site. At the top of this page, click on “Jennifer’s Web Sites” then choose Proofs. There you will find 2008 and 2009’s collections. You can use cards from either set. All cards are 5×7 printed on card stock on both sides. Some designs have back designs, others I will work with you to come up with a custome design. Minor modifications can be made to most cards.

The first round of mini sessions is this weekend and emails went out. I will get emails out for next weekend soon!

Bedford Beautiful Senior – Toledo Senior Photographer

Meet Angela… Bedford class of 2010. I spent a fascinating evening with her a few weeks ago learning all about Tae Kwon Do. I just love it when a senior shares their passion with me, learning all about what they love and excel at. I really love the shot of her with all her belts, showing how much work she’s done and how far she’s come along.

More soon! So…my day today…I had these almost ready to put up this morning, all emails and voicemails caught up on, and all 3 kids home as the boys had the day off from school. They were all good most of the morning, and then the bickering started. So it was, try to get the blog post up, break up an arguement, try again, fight again… I finally gave up and packed the kids all up and drove them to the studio. I had lunch, a bunch of movies to show on the projector on the wall, and the toys at the studio they haven’t see in months. I had some things to get ready for the Applebutter festival Sunday. Can you guess how much I got done? And how much the studio looked like a tornado hit it? And that my new phone doesn’t get reception at the studio so when I got home tonight I think I was much further behind in every way than when I left! Wish me luck for a more productive day tomorrow…and if you called or emailed I will get back to you, thanks for being patient!

And don’t forget to come out to the festivel in Grand Rapids Sunday! The studio will be open from 8 to 5…come say hi, check the studio out and see if I got the tornado damage cleaned up! It’s supposed to be dry finally!

As promised, here is the information about my holiday mini sessions! I just put them out through my newsletter and facebook and already they are almost gone!

November 1 – only 4 and 4:30 PM left!

November 8 – SOLD OUT!

If you are interested but can’t do November 1st and need a weekend date, please let me know! I will be starting a waiting list and if I have enough interest I will add another Saturday or Sunday.

A few answers to questions already asked: Yes dogs are allowed, yes these are great for couples too! I’ll work to reschedule everyone if it is pouring rain, but if it snows I’ll be excited! And my 2009 holiday card collection will be out soon!
