I announced some limited edition mini sessions on Facebook yesterday! The spots are almost gone, so let me know right away if you are interested! Ireland Destination Wedding, Castle Leslie Fairytale, Toledo Wedding Photographer

I’m back from Ireland and it feels like it was all a dream! Blake and Lauren are truly a couple that deserved a fairytale wedding and they got one! I know I have many, many emails and calls to return, but I had to pick a few for Lauren’s news station to show when she is back on the air tomorrow…and they were kind enough to let me share them here first! (if you’re in Indianapolis, don’t ruin the surprise)

I will definitely be back with more…the ceremony, the flowers, the rooms, their friends and family, the people at the castle…were all amazing! I have so many stories to share!

First Castle Leslie, near the border with Northern Ireland…was so beautiful! And we couldn’t get enough of the history from the staff there. From the Leslie family being first cousins with Winston Churchill and seeing some of his memorabilia, to more recent history like trying to guess which of Paul McCartney’s guests stayed in my room for his wedding, and the story of Mick Jagger, the nuns and the school girls I think this was my favorite view (see the glass in the middle with the blue arched windows? That is the Conservatory where the ceremony was held):

Blake and Lauren’s first kiss at the ceremony. For most of the ceremony they sat at a table where they had to sign papers!

My other favorite spot…who doesn’t love an old iron gate, especially with a castle in the background? Such a gorgeous couple!

The beautiful bride:

I’m in love with the boathouse. And we lucked out for most of the picture taking with no rain…but when the first drops fell, Kevin (from the castle staff) appeared from behind a tree with an umbrella. I need Kevin to come over here and help with the rest of my weddings!

I had to include the cake cutting! It’s a Castle Leslie tradition to cut any cake with their sword (wedding, birthday, etc) Only you have to also have one foot on the table too! And one from their first dance, the Irish band was incredible! The young girl to the right of Lauren had a golden voice!

I wanted to share a few images from this session…these two were so sweet together! I have to admit I was nervous, since their ages were really close to my oldest and youngest…who do not get along! But these two were so sweet together!

And I had to throw in an extra, because who doesn’t love a twirly dress picture? (especially this Matilda Jane dress, which I am anxiously awaiting my own copy for my little one!)

Happy happy happy! I’ve known Sarah for several years and it made me smile all day going through her engagement images! I just love seeing her so happy with Joe! And I’m so excited for their wedding this summer! Did I mention Sarah is a fabulous wedding photographer? I consider it a great honor she wanted me to capture her own wedding!

I met these two sweet sisters recently…my new three year old friend and her gorgeous baby sister! The littlest sister was just over two weeks old and reaching that age were she was awake and fussing a bit more. But I got to get in bunches of cuddle time with her and ended up with a gallery full of gorgeous images! I wanted to include just one of each sweetie, but I couldn’t leave out a few of the fun big sister and I had while baby took a snack break!

I’m so excited to see them again soon, have I mentioned I’ve started up a baby plan? Ask me for details if you’re interested!

Baby It’s Cold Outside – Toledo Baby Photographer

It was such a pleasure to travel up north a ways in Michigan to capture this sweet baby girl! She is the gorgeous daughter of one of my past wedding couples. I just LOVE seeing the circle of love and life through my photography! I’m so lucky!

AMAZING Wedding Albums! Toledo Wedding Photographer

I recently changed album companies… I’m so picky about the quality my brides and grooms get, and while I loved my old albums, I kept hearing raves from my photographer friends around the world about how amazing these are. I got a sample…then a second sample…then a third!

Usually albums are only discounted when you choose your wedding package, but for the next two weeks I’m offering a chance to get a discount album if you don’t already have one! This is perfect for the couples that have had their disk for a year or tow with the intention of making their own album, but never had time to do it. Or those that tried getting their own and were surprised about how bad the quality was. Or for those couples planning for this year that wish they had gone with an album option. (I’ve heard all of these situations over and over in the last few years!)
